- MISSION
Alex is a believer in and disciple of Jesus Christ and is committed to the Great Commission - sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all the world. His mission in life is to take the message of Financial Freedom to help liberate the world from poverty, hunger and want. He believes having the proper financial education will enable people to get ahead in life, make better financial decisions, provide for their family and make a difference in this world.
Early Years & Education
EARLY YEARS
- Alex Barrón was born in El Paso TX in 1973. He grew up in Juarez, Mexico and El Paso TX. He and his two brothers grew up in a Christian home. His father is an entrepreneur, businessman, and role model. His mother is an inspiration of love and taught him to read, write and do math by the age of 3. He is bilingual speaking English and Spanish.
EDUCATION
- He studied Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and graduated as a Top 10 Senior with a GPA of 4.0 in 1995. He received a National Science Foundation Fellowship. He graduated from Stanford University with a Masters in Structural Engineering in 1996 and an Engineer Degree in Construction Management in 2001.
Career & Business
CAREER
Alex began his career on Wall Street in 2001. He worked at Franklin Templeton Investments in the Real Estate team analyzing homebuilders. From 2004-2007 he worked at JMP Securities as a homebuilding analyst. He was one of the first to realize the housing market was going to crash in early 2006. In 2007 he started his own independent equity research practice as part of Agency Trading Group.
BUSINESS
In 2010, Alex founded Housing Research Center LLC - the premier indepedent equity research firm in the nation focused on the US housing market and public homebuilders. He has a team of over 20 people who track data and analyze the top 20 homebuilders and over 7,000 communities every month. In 2017 he launched Diamond Crest Capital LLC - a hedge fund dedicated to investing in the homebuilding sector.

Alex was blessed to meet the love of his life in 2016. They got married in Half Moon Bay CA overlooking the ocean - one of his dreams. He is happily married and currently lives with his wife and children in El Paso TX. His two sons are in high school. His daughter is a long awaited blessing and was born in 2022.

At the age of 21, Alex set a goal to travel the world - at least 1 new country per year. Since that time he has traveled to over 50 countries before the age of 50. His goal is to continue traveling the entire world the rest of this century. Traveling is a huge passion of his and is a great way to get to know other cultures, history, and the world we live in.

In 1994, Alex purchased Peter J. Daniels book called "How to Reach Your Life Goals". Since that time he has studied the topic of personal development and goal setting. He has reached all of his life goals including building his dream home in 2015. He continues to expand his goals using Vision Boards each year. He teaches others how to do

He teaches others how to do this in his annual Success Conference Cruises and his seminar University of Success which meets every week.

One of the biggest accomplishments and blessings for Alex was becoming a Father. This was a dream of his since the age of 20. Although it took a long time to accomplish he enjoys this role very much and looks forward to what each day will bring.
